Site compentition for us happens only from time to time, maybe only 4 out of 30 sites we actully have to fight for inside.The rest is up to fleet composition, skill, mobility, scouting and "luck" which happens to supply us usually with a stream of good sites (mostly NCOs, handfull of NMC, rarely any OTA thanks to fleets running and even specializing in OTAs).

Or u can use a scout and find clear sites that u dont have to fight with anyone for, or at least fight without of handicap of being there 2nd :-)

When I was starting incursions I also felt that "only best fleet" wins the site sucks.But now I think it actually adds to gameplay and makes it more fun, either in win or lose competitions or in scounting and racing for clear sites, or specializing in ones that are "less" favorite.
